Program for Environmental and Resource Economics

The program for Environmental and Resource Economics (pERE) offers courses, seminars and opportunities to conduct research under with some of the nation's leading scholars in environmental and resource economics. pERE is open to students from any department who wish to focus on economic aspects of environmental and natural resource issues. Those issues include land use, species conservation, water quality protection, natural resource use, auto emissions, sustainable development, and many others. Most of the research has significance for public policies toward the environment and natural resources.
